Breezy Ridge Rugs Rug Yarn Gauge

The yarn gauge is for measuring the amount of yarn needed to rug punch or hook a given rug design or pattern filling in with 1/4 inch high loops. 

The tool has a 3 inch square open area in the center with an attached handle.   A right handed or left handed person is able to reposition the open area over a section of the design.

Open area equals 1 oz of most yarns    

filling area with ¼ inch loops.

1 oz = approx 28 grams
